Team event in the mountains

They are the highlight of each financial year – company outings. To ensure that your employee event is guaranteed to be a success, we have put together the best ideas for company outings and team building events in the mountains. Scenic Gurgl Carat is also perfect for smaller events. That's why we also show you our best tips for company outings in a small group. Which questions you should note before a company outing

When organizing staff events, company or office outings, there are a few things to consider. First of all, it is important to define the purpose of the event. What are the aims and goals of the outing? Would you like to motivate employees, create a team building experience or is the focus on operational output? You can now build all the other components of your event on it, such as the selection of participants, the location of the company outing, the activities, the catering during the company outing, the travel options to and from the event location and ultimately also the budget planning. The expert Gurgl Carat team will be happy to help you organize and plan your company outing. As experienced event professionals, they know the requirements for successful company outings and are always available to provide advice and support.

Company outing checklist

What are the aims and goals of the outing? Would you like to motivate employees, create a team building experience, generate measurable output or achieve something else?

Who should take part in the excursion? Do you want to invite all employees or just a specific group? If the latter, how will the participants be selected?

Where should the excursion take place? Is there a particular location that is of interest to the company? What options and amenities (infrastructure, activities, etc.) are available on site?

What activities are offered in your destination? Be inspired by Gurgl Carat’s list of employee event ideas.

Which activities should be offered? Should the outing mainly consist of sporting activities or are cultural experiences relevant too?

How should the catering be organized? Would you like meals to be offered as part of the excursion or should the participants provide their own food and drink?

How should arrival and departure be organized? Do you want to rent a bus or should the participants travel to and from the event location on their own?

What is the budget for the excursion? Do you want the company to cover all the costs or should the participants pay part of it themselves?
