Event Village Gurgl is a unique location that offers everything you need for successful events in the mountains. Accommodation, conference facilities, catering and F&B, supporting programmes, team-building opportunities and all supported by a highly professional event management team that is on hand to assist customers with planning at any time.
Rent a Village means consciously choosing to hold an event in a village that can only meet the customer's overall requirements by bundling individual services. Offering a Rent a Village format is a great advantage for smaller destinations, as it enables them to handle larger requests.
The largest venue in Gurgl is the Gurgl Carat Congress Centre, which can accommodate up to 500 people, while the University Centre has space for 200 people. Individual hotels in Gurgl also have seminar rooms, with the Hotel Alpina, which can accommodate 130 people, and the Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl, which can accommodate 100 people, being particularly noteworthy. However, smaller meetings are also frequently held in smaller rooms and mountain huts.
Gurgl is one of the places with the highest density of 4-star hotels per capita worldwide. With just 400 inhabitants, there are 25 4-star hotels in the village. In total, approximately 5,000 guests can stay in Gurgl at the same time. Obergurgl has the most beds with 3,500 guest beds. Most 4-star hotels offer a seminar room for smaller groups, or they convert a room in the restaurant for this purpose.
Gurgl offers its guests a huge selection of side programmes. In summer, these include climbing, hiking, e-bike tours, trail running workshops, alpine yoga, yoga with alpacas, horse riding with the Gurgl Haflingers, 9-hole golf in the Passeier Valley, tennis, pump track taster course, downhill taster course, mountain cart race and road bike stages. In winter, these include skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking. Throughout the year, we offer mountain photography courses, soap making, cheese, wine and schnapps tastings, Kaiserschmarrn cooking courses, visits to the vintage motorcycle museum, visits to the Sölsch brewery and Alpine sightseeing flights.
