#1 Excursion to the Bike Republic Sölden

The Bike Republic Sölden, founded in 2015 has already become a cult in the mountain bike scene. It’s not surprising due to the variety of trails and lines and above all the breathtaking backdrop of the Ötztal Alps. On a brewery tour of the Bäckelar Brewery in Sölden, you will learn how a regional quality product is made at 1,400 meters. Distance: 45 minutes by car

Founder and soap making master Jochen Neururer takes the time to explain the natural ingredients of his products, giving a detailed insight into the production process. Glycerin soaps are then made together, you can take them home as a little souvenir. This side activity program is therefore also perfect for team building events with up to 30 people.

If you want to get even more out of your trip to Umhausen, combine soap making with other activities. For example, visit the Stuiben Falls – Tirol’s largest waterfall. Or watch majestic eagles, owls & other birds up close at spectacular flight shows held at the Birds of Prey Park. A piece of history can also be found right next door in the Ötzi Village.

#5 Water action at AREA 47

Distance: 55 minutes by car

 

The wet element! AREA 47 at the entrance to Ötztal is Austria’s largest outdoor adventure park. There is a large Water AREA with slides and diving platforms, a Wake AREA with top-class infrastructure, high ropes course, flying fox & mega swing and many other adventurous highlights. The high ropes course, the 400 meter long zip line (flying fox) or the Wake AREA are perfectly suitable as side activity programs and team building options. Exciting outdoor experiences such as rafting, canyoning or caving are also available. Due to the longer distance to and from Gurgl Carat, it is strongly recommended to schedule this side program at the beginning or end of the event. Therefore a visit to AREA 47 can be combined with the arrival or departure journey.
