Above all, the location’s technical equipment is a key factor that decides whether you get goosebumps or want to “get out quickly”. Event location in Tirol
The location for an event with live music could hardly be better: a modern building, large glass facades, first-class technical equipment and the three thousand meter peaks of lower Ötztal shine all around. What sounds like a fairy tale is reality in Obergurgl. Gurgl Carat opened in 2020 and plays all the tricks in terms of technical equipment, modern furnishings and first-class service. The congress and event center is located right in the village center of Obergurgl in Ötztal. You can reach the venue in an eco-friendly way by public bus (bus stop right in front of the building, bus runs every half hour) or comfortably by car. The largest hall, Schalfkogel, can accommodate up to 500 people in theater seating style. The capacity for standing room varies and depends, for example, on the size of the stage. Gurgl Carat also has a large reception hall and a forecourt.

Legal aspects & safety
This Tirolean event location was built in 2019 - therefore the whole building is up to date in terms of emergency exits, escape routes, etc. There are also several safety concepts that take effect in exceptional situations (fire, power failure, etc.). Gurgl Carat not only meets all legally required measures, but also takes other precautions. We will be happy to show you emergency exits, escape routes and assembly points during a visit on site and create a concept that is tailored to your event. Gurgl Carat also has all permits for live concerts and therefore meets the legal requirements for events with live music. Furthermore, the entire building is barrier-free. Two elevators ensure accessibility up to the third floor (control room).
Human resources & marketing
Of course, at a venue for live music and other events, service staff and personnel also play a major role. We are happy to provide you with service staff for catering or cocktail receptions. Additionally, Gurgl Carat employees are always on site at events to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We are also pleased to support you in advertising your public event. For example, we can promote live music events on our social media channels or place advertising on our outdoor screens. Inside our building there are also other branding and marketing areas that you can use as you wish.
