"All the threads come together here with me," Barbara explains. She accompanies events from the initial inquiry to completion and ensures that all customer requests are implemented as best as possible. "I discuss all the details with the client, followed by assigning tasks to my team." Depending on the size of the event, she herself remains the main contact person or delegates individual projects to her event team. Matthias, Head of Event Technology, also provides support when it comes to technical questions. 

No two days are the same

A regular workday? There is no such thing in Barbara's job. "No matter how well the planning is done, things often turn out much differently than expected," she says. Spontaneous changes or weather-related adjustments are part of the routine. But that is precisely what makes it so exciting to her: "The challenges we face every day are what make the job so appealing. No two days are the same – and that is exactly what I love!"
