The size of an event space depends on several factors - first on the number of people, second on the type of event - the event format. In any case, a suitable event room must offer enough space for all participants as well as the equipment required (tables, stage, flipcharts, etc.). Depending on these factors, the ideal size of a seminar and event location can be chosen. The ceiling height should also be considered for a pleasant sense of space. The ceilings of Gurgl Carat are 6 meters high. Additionally, Gurgl Carat has a highly flexible room concept, so that the size of the event spaces can be individually adapted to each event. In addition to the size, the equipment (sockets, inventory, event technology, dimming options, lighting, etc.) as well as the services available (catering, project support, accommodation booking, etc.) are also important factors when choosing a location. Booking an event room at Gurgl Carat is uncomplicated and convenient. Simply fill out the request form and let us know which event you are planning at Gurgl Carat. After submitting your request, a Gurgl Carat employee will contact you to discuss your all details. You have the option of booking not only the event room, but also other services such as catering, hotels, side programs, transfers, etc. To make it as easy as possible for you, you can obtain all services directly from Gurgl Carat. If you book an event room at Gurgl Carat, you can use the room exclusively for a pre-defined period of time. Additionally, all basic technical equipment is included in the rental price. Depending on the event or selected seminar room, a flat rate for electricity or further technical equipment is as well included. Please refer to your offer for the exact scope of services.

All Gurgl Carat event rooms are barrier-free and easily accessible for disabled people. It means that you can easily reach the rooms with a wheelchair. Each seminar room and the sanitary facilities can be reached by elevator.

“Parkgarage Zentrum” is right next to Gurgl Carat. If all the spaces should already be occupied, you can also use "Parkgarage Festkogl" at the entrance to the village, which is about 10 walking minutes from Gurgl Carat. In addition, the “Obergurgl Zentrum” bus stop is right in front of Gurgl Carat. The bus runs between this stop and the town of Imst with stops throughout Ötztal.

Getting there

State-of-the-art Gurgl Carat is not only Europe’s highest congress center, but also a true highlight in terms of event technology. The heart of the high-end media technology is a 100 m² front screen, which is played by three high-performance full HD projectors. Gurgl Carat does not work exclusively with any caterer. You are very welcome to bring your own catering partner or organize the catering yourself. If you do not have your own caterer, Gurgl Carat will be happy to help you with the organization. In view of top international events, fantastic acoustics have been installed in the halls. It also includes acoustic walls that do not let any sound escape. Therefore no volume restrictions apply in the event halls. For outdoor events, we would be happy to assist you in clarifying the currently applicable regulations.

As a varied holiday destination, Obergurgl offers a large number of excellent hotels, apartments and guesthouses. The nearest hotel is only a one-minute walk from Gurgl Carat.
